Trick or Treat!

The quilt pattern is called "Here For the Boo's" and has several complimentary fabrics to use to make it.  I couldn't find all of the fabrics but there were enough choices that I could accommodate and still make a fun Halloween quilt.

This quilt received some fun comments while I was making it.  It began with a panel and I continued to add borders.  I hadn't planned on it being so large, but there's always so much fun Halloween fabric out, I couldn't help myself!  The photo below has the panel with just one border showing & the fun web with the big spider showing up nicely. The spider was done in yellow thread with a red thread overlay to make him stand out a little more. Also notice the witch flying on her broom bottom left!

The quilting was just as fun because there's several options that came with our software.  On this quilt, we chose spiders, a tombstone, witches, jack o' lanterns, & a ghost or two for good measure.  The majority of the quilting was done in a bright orange thread.

A fun fabric was used for the back which allowed the quilting to show up nicely.  Below you can see Spidey's back side.

This custom Halloween quilt was made for someone who loves the holiday so much, she will use it year-round.
